There is a rumor that there might be one starring Wesley Snipes which i don't like. Not that I don't like Snipes I loved the blade movies. I think Djimon Hounsou the Black man in Blood Diamond. He has an African accent and he's a good actor. Besides Snipes can't be Blade and Black Panther it's just wrong.

Agreed. Snipes is to damn old anyway. For those of you who dont know who Djimon Hounsou is, he was the African warrior that put the maggots in the arm of Russell Crowe in the movie Gladiator.

Yea, i saw Gladiator but it was a long time ago and then i saw previews for Blood Diamond. He sounds like a good choice. He and Hally Berry might look good together ;]

Djimon Hounsou(43) and Halle Berry (to polite to say) are almost as old as Snipes(44, 45 next month)! My only problem with Snipes is that he already played Blade. Being in Black Panther would get Ms Berry a comic book movie hat-trick (sequels don't count).

@noob: Hmmm, the Oscar winning actress needs acting lessons. Maybe you could give her the number of your drama coach, help her out.

Okay, I think you misunderstood what I meant when I said to old. What I meant is Snipes is played out, I'm sick of seeing him and Denzel grab up all the leading black roles. Its time for some new faces.

And Ms. Berry couldn't act her way on to Jerry Springer.

Let's face it, Alicia Silvertone was not the worst thing about thar movie. I believe even Clooney apologised for it (much like Berry for Catwoman), though blame should rests squarely on the head of Joel (let's put nipples on it) Schumacher for that.

Ok.. snipes wont be in the movie, he is only the producer. this is old news and its been ages since i seen people talk about this.

yeh there is a movie comeing out. within the next two years. an actor has not yet been chosen, but he will most likely be a new actor who can use capoeira.

I was watching Serenity the other day and when the bad guy (played by Chiwetel Ejiofor) came on, he struck me as being a good choice. I don't know BP that well, but he did seem to have that calm, eloquent authority you'd want and he does cool ninja stuff. I think it was the day after my last post, so it was still on my mind. Obviously, you can't speculate about a new comer though. Things in the movie world are always subject to change, so who knows who'll be in it or if it will go ahead.

......Ok then. Speaking of Hounsou, apparently he might play Kratos in the God Of War. The director said he was the main choice. It was on Gamepro's crappy site. Don't know how well that would work, Kratos is the Ghost Of Sparda. He's all white.

I'd like to see an even younger actor. Maybe someone unknown who would look really really good in the action scenes and I'd show a lot of training without the costume. I would also want someone with a very believable accent who would ooze intelligence and aloofness, without having to overact to show those attributes. I'm asking for a lot from an unknown but I'm demanding.

Director John Singleton plans to make a Black Panther movie... He wants to make it before he makes Luke Cage. Me, personally, I don't think John Singleton should even be involved in the movie. Period. Honestly, I feel that he might mess the movie up. Real Talk... Comic Book movies are not up his alley...

I LOVE BP to death, and I would sell my soul to see a good hopefully great movie about him. Singleton isn't the guy at all. Black Panther is a serious character and you cannot do him like Ghost Rider(which a movie like that is what I could see Singleton doing.) I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, but there are more people that I feel could do a better job. Chiwetel Ejiofor is my choice for T'Challa.
