Pulp Noir Black Panther, fighting crime with six arms?!
You should be buying this book for the gorgeous Francavilla art alone. David Liss' strong script continues T'challa's clean up of Hell's Kitchen alongside a fun tie-in to Spider-Island. Nothing to complain about here. A well written and intelligent hero, given unusual new circumstances, fighting a bad guy or two on rooftops, the artwork as I said earlier really helps sell this story in a unique tone. Seriously, if you aren't reading this, do yourself a favor and pick up the trades. Liss has a good grasp of what makes Black Panther tick, and Francavilla KILLS IT on art duties.
