    Black Panther Picks A Side

    The Story:
The recently married Black Panther and Storm are enjoying their honeymoon until they decide to take up Doctor Doom's offer who recently extended his hand in peace. They travel to Latveria to meet with Doctor Doom, the Moon to meet with the Inhumans and Atlantis to meet with Namor. Upon visiting Namor the Black Panther decides to form his own resistance to fight the Civil War and him and Storm attempt to recruit Captain Britain who doesn't want to get involved in other country's affairs. The Black Panther joins Captain America's resistance. The final battle of the Civil War takes place in which Captain America surrenders.

    My Thoughts:
This is probably my favorite volume so far in the Black Panther series. It's a great tie-in to the Civil War story arc. We finally see the Black Panther forced to pick a side in the Civil War as he joins up with Captain America and his resistance. I'm finally starting to enjoy the Black Panther series and can honestly say I look forward to what happens next with him and Storm. One thing I didn't like when it came to the art was for the first three issues we had Scott Eaton who's art was nice and what I've become accustomed to seeing when reading the Black Panther. For the last three issues the style of art changes and is drawn by Koi Turnbull & Marcus To. The way T'Challa is drawn looks nothing like the way he's been portrayed. Their art isn't horrible it's just we have two completely different looking T'Challa's in this volume. That aside it's a great tie-in to the Civil War.

    Rating: 3.5/5
