Flash First confrontation: Unknown Black Flash is the manifestation of death for speedsters. Normal death cannot catch superfast people, so the Black Flash does. If it catches you, you're doomed. It was spotted before the deaths of Barry Allen and Max Mercury, and can run as fast as Flash himself. He has gone after Wally twice-once he missed and absorbed his wife into the Speed Force. The other time, Flash took him to the end of time, where Black Flash disintegrated. There, death has no meaning-it's the end of time! Black Flash dissapated, but he may come back at any time for the superfast heroes and villains of the DC community. |

Max Mercury tried to save him... and it instead took Wally’s girlfriend Linda Park who five minutes later would have been his fiancée. Most recently, the Black Flash appears to Bart Allen (the Flash) when the Flash loses his powers while battling the Rogues at the Getty Center. |
