    Where exactly did Dinah's canary cry come from?

    Was she just born with the ability or did something more specific give it to her?

    I can't really seem to find a straight answer for this anywhere.

    She was born with it due to radiation that she was exposed to while in her mothers womb ,I believe.

    The original origin was due to a curse .. Post Crisis the Cry originated from birth, she inherited a metagene due to her mother's exposure to radiation... The current origin was simply due to a dormant metagene present since birth activated thru particular processes concocted by John Lynch... Its like Marvel's mutants
