Dinah Lance was born into a family of crime fighters; her mother was a vigilante and her father is a cop. She grew up with the company of heroes, and after years of training, followed in her parent's footsteps by assuming the costume, identity, and legacy of her mother Dinah Drake, the Black Canary.
Yea she is, or at least I'd say so.. She's at the prime of her superhero career, and she's facing betrayal after betrayal and she's good in that she still has that potential to do good, that thing that keeps her going no matter what happens, plus she's still one of the best fighters in the DCU, altho the stories can be a little bit off sometimes, I love the scenes whenever she fights, more often than i do whenever she uses her powers... Reminds me y i fell in love with her
The Birds of Prey book isn't amazing, but Back Canary is still a pretty solid character. BC and Starling were actually a really funny combination. So yeah, Black Canary is still a good character despite staring in an average book.
Maybe when this arc of Not so dead husband ends, the books can return to past glory. I hated that Starling left the team, (Posion Ivy aside being villain, was there to help on Cleaner Arc and Katana is staring on both solo book and Justice League of America) Starling ,aside working with Amanda Waller, was a funny character and she was like Huntress whom is dead on New 52.
