Depends on the culture/society you ask...  Most parts of North America it is illegal because, I think, it is considered incest.

apparently you never served in the arm forces. .... :P   besides they arent slaves per say they are just given jobs that they are able to handle.

I can excuse the incest as Black Bolt and Medusa are royalty and it somehow genetically works in that world (good thing Crystal had a child with a mutant and is consorted to Ronan the Accuser).

But at the end of the day the Alpha Primatives are slaves, but they're okay with that only because they can't imagine anything better.
