I Think Adam should be more of an Anti Hero instead of a villain.
Black Adam
Character » Black Adam appears in 853 issues.
The original champion of the Wizard, Teth-Adam was a former slave who channeled the power of six Egyptian Gods to fight evil. But when his family was murdered during the conquest of his people, he developed more ruthless methods to protect innocents. Seeing him as corrupt, the Wizard banished "Black Adam" to the tomb of Ramesses II. After centuries of imprisonment, he would finally escape to overthrow Kahndaq's tyrant by force, becoming the country's defender and a natural enemy to the world's heroes.
Black Adam, Better as a Villain or Anti Hero?
Anyone read the issues of JSA of Black Adam by Johns before he became another mass murderer? That's the best Adam in history
He is still badass now though
Black Adam doesn't really sound like the name of an anti-hero does it?
Black Adam is better off as a villain because he took control of his homeland, Kahndaq with his powers. He also attacks the JSA on a regular basis. Black Adam is my favourite DC supervillain, if only the Black Marvel family were evil too.

" Black Adam was born a villain, not hero or anti-hero! (calms down then shouts)VILLAIN!!!!! ""Born a villain"? I'm not sure you're really talking about Black Adam here...
Villain.
He's one of those anti-heroes that turned into a brute villain.
Although, I do see him being that type of "villainous savior and protector" which he's depicted of being.
Anything BL does is awesome but I guess I'd prefer as a Anti hero
I completely agree with this. I would like to see him less as an enemy to Billy though. The whole evil counter-part angle is bland and grows tiresome quickly. I would like to see a mentor like relationship between him and Billy.
I've never really seen him as an anti-hero, if Failpoint hadn't happened then maybe he could've evolved into a more complex morality kinda like what has happened with Magneto over the years, but he never really stemmed that far away from being an evil person. I hope the character continues the way he was heading when Kahndaq starts having a bigger presence.
@world_breaker_elmo: that would be amazing
