The Birds of Prey are a group of female heroes headed by Oracle. Though the team's roster tends to rotate, the mainstays of the group have been Oracle, Black Canary, and Huntress. There is now a new team roster, lead by Black Canary.

just read issue 10, great story, but the art is really throwing me off

I agree completely. The art is, how should I say this... a bit, too much "exquisite" for my own taste.
Better, it´s Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Lol.

@mrtrickster: With issue 12 we're getting Jesus Saiz on art and I thought he did a pretty good job and he should be on the book for the foreseeable future.
