The Birds of Prey are a group of female heroes headed by Oracle. Though the team's roster tends to rotate, the mainstays of the group have been Oracle, Black Canary, and Huntress. There is now a new team roster, lead by Black Canary.

I have no idea what would be next for Barbara, but I just don't believe they'd kill a character like her off. Of course, the Oracle identity has been well used too, and I don't see that lying fallow for very long either. I could see someone else becoming Oracle, or a character just like it. I've never thought that Red Robin was going to be a permanent identity for Tim Drake, and he's always been good at figuring out who other masks really were. I could see him parlaying that into something like the Oracle identity. That frees up a few costume shifts in the Bat-verse, if they needed it. <shrugs> Totally guessing though, and since I feel like it's out on a limb, probably wrong. ;)
