    Birds of Pray (Like the Missionary Joke... I'll Shut Up Now) 0

    The Good: The scene in the hospital was pretty cool, where the Nazi grabs Phantom Lady's wrist. The flashbacks had an interesting story to tell. The plan of the villains was very Nazi-ish.  The choice of 'main' characters was pretty clever, as they all serve a balance. At the hospital, we have the original Phantom Lady, now an old woman; the new Black Canary, daughter of the original; and the original Lady Blackhawk, displaced in time so a young woman.     Birds of Prey #14 Ok first off I'd like to say that I have a lot of respect for Marc Andreyko. I loved his work on the Manhunter series and I was extremely excited to read this issue. Well this issue wasn't exactly what I expected. So the ladies including Phantom Lady, and Kate Spencer are at a charity fundraiser at the Gotham Veteran's hospital. We get to see a flash back of the original Black Canary, Zinda, and a much younger Phantom Lady working together on a covert mission in Argentina. Phan...

    How can you go wrong with women kicking Nazi's butt? 0

    Synopsis: Events from World War II resurfaces to haunt Phantom Lady and Lady Blackhawk. What's Good? Lady Blackhawk to me is one of the overlooked members of the Birds of Prey. It's been a LONG time since she had a story and most of her stories have something to do with World War II (I believe her last story was when she was brainwashed by Tiger Shark).
