First thing...who is this character Infinity. There are hints here saying that she might not be a new character at all. Hmm. Anyways this issue is super enjoyable. Manhunter vs Black Canary...find out who has the best kung fu. Infinity checking out a secured supervillain storage room. The Huntress pulling a move I just saw in the movie The Dark Knight. Also a villain from Bab's past shows up. O'Hare killed with the art here...loved it! And the quips were done very well...great job Bedard...I am still enjoying this series even though Simone jumped.

This has an interesting, if not a very eye popping cover. I have never seen or heard of this new character, so I was looking at it for awhile just to figure out who it was I was looking at. The story itself was pretty darn cool. The Manhunter Black Canary fight happened exactly the way it should have. Plus I love finding out that someone is reverse engineering Villain technology. To me that is obvious genius.
Now the meat and potatoes of the issue would be the battle with Gizmo. Or at least what looks like a zombified version of him. I didn't understand that part, but it did not stop the battle from being pretty cool.
This is just another strong issue of a strong series. I can highly recommend.

Birds of Prey #120. Another solid, interesting issue of Tony Bedards run. Questions are raised, and a possible new Bird?
The dialouge was mainly good, but I did have a problem over why the whole Babs/Dinah conflict started (prev issue), and why Oracle would even be doing what she did. Is she on to Sin's fake death? Or was that just a theory? Manhunter, who gets her butt kicked, is quick becoming one of my favorites and a regular on the book. That aside, my only other problem was the art. I don't feel that O'hare is a good fit for this book, as most panels looked too so-so to stand out. So go get #120, read it, and come back next month to get the loose ends (hopefully) tied up!
