Confused
THE GOOD:
The art in this issue looks different to me then in previous issues. I actually like it better because it has a more sketchy feeling with the facial expressions I've come to love in this book. The artist also makes some really cool action scenes in here and I think that it makes it more fluid. The story itself is fairly good. We get to open up a bit in the past. I really like the whole plan Katana has in this issue and I think that was the best part. I also really liked Starlings role in this. Batgirl and Black Canary are suppose to be the focus, but I think the other characters were involved in something more interesting.
THE BAD:
I really think that this Black Canary thing should have waited. They are going to be involved in the Court of Owl's crossover (Awesome) so they aren't going to be able to get far with it before taking a break. I was also confused about the whole Choke thing. I though they were going to be tracking him down and killing him (again).
THE VERDICT: 3.5/5 (Good)
This series has been fairly consistent. I think that it is something for female comic readers who really like mysteries. I enjoy the series and I think that the characters here are very interesting and are all hiding tons of baggage. I think if you want a story where you won't know everything upfront, this is for you.
