Even though i'm not the biggest Geoff Johns fan in the world, it looks like he actually has done some things i've been wanting for Billy/Cap. I'm actually happy that he is back in general and i am glad to see he seems a bit older. Now if we could just get a pic of Cap in the new costume and i can make my final opinion. I guess so far my only real complaint would be that i really was just hoping for him to just get his own book again, but overall i am excited and now have a reason to get JL, and hopefully if this is good he will get his own book again.

I'm still not convinced its Billy, we know that the Wizard has been abducting people and testing them to see if they're worthy. I think this is one of them.

However if it is Billy i wouldn't be too disappointed, its certainly an interesting take, especially considering how important Billy being a child usually is to the Captain Marvel identity.

The person in the pictures looks to old. I will be disappointed if they change his age that much. Really I just kind've hope they return Captain Marvel and co. to the old status quo. CM and related characters has seriously sucked since IC. Trials of Shazam was it? *shudders* Worst CM story ever.

Well to be accurate, Johns said that Billy would be the "main character." I assumed that means he's going to be Cpt Marvel.

He looks a lot like Clark Kent now. But aside from that these pages look promising. The New 52 Captain Marvel should be interesting.

Oh, i'm not worried about whether Billy will be Captain Marvel, within the back-up story. Its more the fact that i don't think the teaser images are of Billy. They could be of some other person who The Wizard tested to hold the power of Shazam, before Billy.

In one of the JL back-ups, it say that a Wizard has been taking people and testing them to see if they are worthy of the power of SHAZAM. My guess is that this is one of those people, who was tested, before Billy.
