    Decent Idea, Bad Implication

I didn't read the first issue of "Biker Mice from Mars", but you don't need to understand the story. The three heroes save Charley Davidson and tell her how they came to earth,so this issue tells us the origin of the Biker Mice from Mars. An alien race of scavengers and theives called the Plutarkians invaded Mars to mine the planet and steal their resources, and the Mice were some of the Martian freedom fighters in an attempt to free their people and and their resources. Ultimately, Mars was destroyed and the characters we know the Biker Mice from Mars (Just saying that makes my head hurt.) fled to Earth. We also learn in their fight for their home,Modo and Vinnie lost limbs and parts of their bodies attempting to free their homeworld in vain. We are then introduced to what appears to be a fat mob boss, and he is chewing out his lackey Greasepit on his failure. Then we see Doctor Karbunkle, who is creating these weird mousetraps as well as other things the bad guys can use to destroy the Biker Mice from Mars.

Charley,in the meantime fixes one of the mice's bikes and then gets taken by Greasepit, who places her on a mousetrap and gives the mice an ultimatum to surrender or he kills the dame. The Mice agree at first but then come out at full speed on their hogs, save the girl in the most ungraceful way possible, hand Greasepit his ass,and rocket the goon to the mob boss' office, almost crushing him. We now find out the mob boss is named Limburger. Limburger is about to chew out Karbunkle as well but he brings out his latest creation The X-Terminator,which we merely see a silhouette of.

This comic has its faults but for some reason I almost want to read the rest. Almost. 6 out of 10.
