Big things happening, nice full issue.

Up for review is The Stand: Soul Survivors #1.

What can I say. I love this stuff! This issue has us follow along as Nick Andros meets up with Tom Cullen, M-O-O-N that spells Tom Cullen! Sorry, after spending a night along side Tom Cullen Nick has to decide whether to take Tom with him or leave him there on the road, playing with his toys. On the road they feel something coming, is it Randall Flagg? Or is it a tornado? Tom runs off into a barn with Nick following after, looking for him. In the bunker of the barn they see some bodies that had been chewed by rats for a while. And in the pitch dark, they fear they are not along. Nick believes Flagg is down there with them. But, just as they were about to find out, Tom runs up the stairs and opens the door to let a flood of light shine in...Off they go, on the road again. This time to meet up with Julie Lawry. Who, if you've seen the movie or read the book you know what type of character she is. A small town floozy type. They realize she is trouble and send her packing. Not to join their group. But, as they start to leave they see that she has shot up all of their travel stuff. So they hoof it out of town before they get shot. A few days later they pick up a couple of bikes and hit the road, when a truck pulls up along side of them. The meeting of Ralph Brentner...

Like I said, this issue is pretty darn full with action and dialogue. It's really a great comic. I rate this one a BIG TIME 5 out of 5. Perfect. Can't wait for #2!
