I'll admit Beware the Batman could have been a lot better but it did have its moments. I think Cartoon Network needs to learn from this experience that CGI animation doesn't really work especially if the writers are going to alter the characters or make the stories and dialogue campy.
Hurray! maybe now Cartoon Network will see you can't just make a cheep show with Batman and expect it to work. Make a show for another character, for the love of god DC has thousands of them.
Sorry to be cynical, but as a DC fan and a Batman fan, this was one show I was happy to take a pass on. I'm no rocket-surgeon, but when you have a successful formula, go with it. The original Teen Titans: Go didn't need to be cancelled. Neither did Justice League. Young Justice didn't need a five year jump or cancellation. It seems neither Young Justice or Green Lantern were given an opportunity to catch on. Trot out another Batman cartoon? What was wrong with The Batman or Batman: The Brave and the Bold? The description I read of Beware The Batman didn't catch my interest.

@jonny_anonymous: because they hope the kids buy the toys and when the toys stop being bought they cancel the shows
green lantern and young justice were victims of this because females were viewing the shows and C.N believes females don't buy toys
That is the worst business model I have ever heard
hey C.N openly admitted that they prefer boys than girls
DC Nation my ass.
Dc Nation more like DC We Cancel Every Show Before Season 3.

@alertcircuit: or DC we're too scared to let any other characters get the spotlight so here's Batman
To the team who created the series:
Thanks for taking such creative risks with the show. It will always remain one of my favorite interpretations of Batman. This was like BBC Sherlock cast as Batman, it didn't feel dumbed down or cartoony. And Magpie was like Catwoman-Harley Quinn Combo. Alfred was a total BAMF and the Batman Katnna team-up played really well.
I could extol over this series for a long time but I think the best thing about the series was that they took a character who has had many great interpretations and made him different and interesting. The previous iterations of Batman were a tough act to fallow but you guys really rocked the house.
Best of luck in your future projects
Superman? ;)
Never watched it because Cartoon Network has gotten as bad as FOX cancelling crap left and right. Only make cartoons for kids. So sad.
They doomed themselves to this when they made a show about lesser-known villains but avoided Hugo Strange. Nobody can make a lasting cartoon anymore!
I find it pretty irritating that almost no one ever sees the big picture when something like this happens. I'm not talking about the quality of the show or DC's cartoons, that is irrelevant (although if you ask me, the show's alright), no, I'm talking about the extintion of action cartoons pretty much becoming a reality, it's something that preocupies me and angers me because of the incompetence of animation networks when handleing these shows, expecting them to make as much of a profit off toys and off brand merchandising like the 80s when nowadays we have things like videogames, they have no idea how to market these shows and it's really gonna get to them eventually.
And no, 2 cartoons on nickelodeon and a Star Wars show living off the Disney hype doesn't mean anything in the big picture.

Thank god.... That show suuuuuuuuucked.....
OH YEAH!!!!!! BRING ON THE FLASH CARTOON!!!!!!!
People who praise the "Timmverse" and talk trash about Young Justice and Green Lantern Animated clearly have no idea what they talk about, or have never watched both shows.
YJ and GL were on the same quality level as the old DCAU, if not even a smidge above them. Anybody who missed those because of "only the old shows were good" bullcrap nostalgia really missed out. GL and YJ were GREAT TV. Really sad CN don't care about that.
BRING BACK F*CKING YOUNG JUSTICE IF YOU CANCELLED THE SHOW THAT REPLACED IT, F*CKING DIPWADS!
Sorry, I had to vent.
Yeah the only good part was the Katana/Idian Lady Shiva/Green Soultaker Sword/League of Assassins/ Ra´s al Ghul Arc.
I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels cheated. Young Justice was amazing, Green Lantern was great, Beware the Batman was good and Teen Titans Go is actually funny, but to have that as the only show that they put out for DC? That's not fair to us or the other fans of the shows.
Never liked the show so I'm okay with it but it's just getting ridiculous that CN is treating DC Shows like tar.
I didn't really like Beware the Batman, but I hope we can have one serious DC cartoon that doesn't get cancelled so quickly, again.
Beware of the Batman..... More like Beware of that awful show! Ooooooh ho ho ho ho ho ho......
Hey everyone! Someone on Comic Vine wants Young Justice back! How about Young Just-No! Ooooooh ho ho ho ho ho......
Such a shame yet another good show had to be fed to Snyder's chopping block.
Hopefully things change now that he's been kicked out of CN.
Finally for this show was far to static to begin with, and everything about just wasn't going anywhere, for he always gets his butt whopped every time, his cave is just three freaking platforms, and the villains were just stupid.
I wonder what show they'll be replacing it with (prayers on third season of Young Justice XD).
They end Brave and the Bold(Probably the best Batman series since TAS) to make this, then it barely lasts a whole season...
Why do they even bother making DC cartoons any more?
Regular Show and Adventure Time
DC (and/or Warner) should stop selling cartoons to Cartoon Network-the days of CN supporting the DC shows like JLU and Teen Titans are over. They should promote their shows on a Warner Brothers property or CW one that supports their shows better
I cant stand teen titans go!. Dc really needs too steer clear of CN from now on and release cartoons on CW
Finally for this show was far to static to begin with, and everything about just wasn't going anywhere,
Did you actually watch the show? Or are you just talking about something you know nothing about?
There was a storyline to the season with the League of Assassins. It actually develops Katana before having her join Batman. There's also the building of Batman's friendship with Gordon and Bruce's slow consumption of his identity by his Batman one.
It wasn't "static" at all and everything had an endgame.
