The Search For The Original Hellions

The White Queen (Emma Frost) was on a personal mission; to get a foothold on power within the Hellfire Club's The Inner Circle and maintain it. In doing so, she came up with a brilliant idea. For the Hellfire Club to continue perpetually, future members are integral. The White Queen decided to create a team of young Mutants loyal only to her (though none would be aware of this particular fact) who would be eventual recruits of the The Inner Circle. In doing so, they would, unquestionably, give their portion power to her and she would achieve her goal; As the White Queen she would solely run and make decisions for the entire Hellfire Club, answering to none. To do this she would fund, build and run a private school, similar to that of Professor Charles Xavier (Professor X). It woul be here that she would teach young mutant in the use of their powers, and prepare them for their future with the Hellfire Club. She would name the school, the Massachusetts Academy. Though in the outward appearance it would look like a prestigous school, very selective with few students. Truly this is where the White Queen's army would grow.

But first the White Queen would need to locate, secure and recruit her future students, and she needed to do it fast. She would use her vast wealth and all of her telepathic might to comb the corners of the world to search for her future students. To increase her mental powers, she would even have a mutant tracking device created, one similar to Cerebro that was used by Professor Charles Xavier. Once the machine was built, that was when she would find the most success.

She seeked out special individuals, those that had gifts that would aid her in her future goals. She would find her original team of mutants and dub them the Hellions. This name was selected as it showed very apparent connection to the Hellfire Club. The team would remain unchanged for a short while until some of the members would desert or quit the team. Warpath then known as Thunderbird, would strike out on his own and quit the team, his slot would be filed by Beef. Firestar would defect to the New Warriors leaving the slot of an energy manipulating mutant open. Needing someone to fill her place. Emma would find a boy by the name of Fabian Marechal-Julbin, who similarly could generate engery and wield it. Though differently he could not wield fire but electric would be the gift he would bring to the team. He had no problems with his decision and would gladly fill the empty place on the team.

__The Hellions No More__

The member's of the Hellfire Club's The Inner Circle were being murdered one by one leaving only a few members left, including Donald Pierce(the White Rook) and Emma Frost(the White Queen). Fearing for her life, the White Queen, would throw a ball and invite the X-Men. Her intentions were to use the ball as a means to ease tension between the two separate mutant factions [the X-Men & the Hellfire Club]. Her thoughts were that if another faction had the capacity to attack the Hellfire Club's Inner Circle, and be as successful as they were, the X-Men couldn't be far from the next target. Which, ofcourse, couldn't be a truer statement. Though, through numerous different interactions between the two groups through-out the night, it seemed as though it would be an impossible task. As arguements seemed to break out each time. In most cases it was it was the youthful immaturity of some of the more mean-spirited Hellions like Jetstream, Roulette and Empath. The X-Men, for the most part did create many of the fights. The exception was with Iceman. He did some antagonizing as well leading to a few fights.

Towards the end of the night Emma would call a closed meeting with her and her Hellions and Storm and her X-Men (her part of the team was refered to as the Gold Team). It was during this time that the biggest fight would start, nearly creating an all out fight between the teams. Bevatron and the other Hellions readied themselves for battle and powered up, the X-Men did the same. Bevatron was especially wanting to take Storm on, due to their mutual electrical powers. Jean Grey though would interfer, mentally putting a stop to the fight. The White Queen would also use her mental powers, though it would so that she kept her team at bay, which meant she didn't have full use of her powers since they were being used already. The X-Men's telepath, Jean Grey, was also in a weakened state, and even more so when the White Queen used her power's, as the pyschic feedback was dealing trememdous damage to her already frail state, along with what she had just don't(stopping the fight). Due to their power's not being fully available they would be caught off gaurd by the next occurrance. Two assaltents, one man and on female, would enter the room. Though only one could be seen. She quickly tried to attack the White Queen. But was rebuffed and taken down as fast as she entered by Emma and her team. While they attempted to question her, the other assailent would make his presence known. Beef and, team leader of the Hellions, Jetstream were nearest to the door. With everyones attention on the female assassin no one would see the next attack coming. A bright flash of light and everyone turn and saw to their disbelief. Trevor Fitzroy had made himself visible and quickly attack both Jetstream and Beef. He would begin to absorb Beef's life essence (in effect killing him) and throw him out of the penthouse window crashing through 3 other high-rise buildings. Beef would continue until he plundged to his death, landing in the middle of the street a few blocks away. Jetstream though, would not be thrown, Fitzroy would keep him and absorb his entire essence killing him in mere moments. The following events in the night would have most of the group of Hellions be killed in the same manner as Jetstream. The White Queen would be placed in a coma and the X-Men would take on damage too. All the training in the world could never have prepared Bevatron for the attack he would encounter. His death along with his other team-mates in the Hellions, though unfair, would lead to the eventual reform of the White Queen, her training of Generation X and her joining of the X-Men.

Soon after Emma threw a party to which the Hellions, as well the X-Men's Gold team attended. It was during the party when Trevor Fitzroy crashed the party so in an attempt to kill Emma to gain points for the Upstarts. Reaching his conquest meant dealing with the Hellions which he had no problem doing, most of the Hellions were drained of their energies during the fight so that Trevor could create a portal. Bevatron was one of the casualties.

__Dspayre__

In an attempt to agitate Emma Frost, the evil D'Spayre would attack her where it hurts most. Through-out the Massachusetts Academy all of the students (Generation X) and Emma Frost are being accosted by bone chilling images. They are seeing the ghosts of Emma first students, the Hellions all through-out the campus grounds. Chaos ensue's, in the end though its found that it only a ruse set by D'Spayre. The ghostly images would quickly disappear and things would be brought back to normal, once again.

*All of the, deceased, Hellions would appear with the exception of Jetstream. He only appears in the second.

Powers

Bevatron was a mutant with the superhuman ability to increase the personal storage of bio-electricity within the cells of his body. Bevatron could then channel this energy into radiant discharges of high-voltage energy from his hands. Bevatron's mutant abilities allow him to focus the excess bio-electricity in his cells through his fists as electric discharges in either energy charged fist or blasts of electricity. He was also able to charge his body so that he would move fast and have increased agility.

Alternate Realities

In this alternate reality, Jetstream was also a member of the Hellions, a group of young students located at the Massachusetts Academy. The significant differance though is that Emma Frost was not the individual that would bring them together and it would not be for the Hellfire Club. In sharp contrast the young mutants were students and being trained to be future agents of their High Lord Apocalypse. In the mainstream reality Eath #295, the Hellions were not truly bad, just trained by bad individuals, here though they actively participate in criminal acts which is why they were seeked out for their arrestd. After the fall of Apocalypse, Magneto made it his initial mission to search out all renegade mutants and followers of Apocalypse. His first targets were the Hellions, who were caught unaware at their school. As proof of is actions for the humans, he would all his and the X-Men's actions be viewable on close circuit television.

The X-Men would invade the school, taking most of the Hellions by complete suprise. Beef was attacked and easily defeated by the combined might of both Storm and Sunfire and brought in to stand trial. He, along with the other Hellions that were present during the invasion, is presumed to be currently incarcerated.
