Origin

Betty Ross is the only child of General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross as well as the girlfriend of Bruce Banner. Betty spent her youth compressed under her father's strict army hand.Thunderbolt Ross had always hoped for a son to follow in his footsteps, and his adversity at having a daughter was reflected in the way he raised her. Betty's mother died in her teenage years and was put under her fathers full care. he decided that an army base is no environment for a girl, so he sent her away to a boarding school. after graduating, she soon returned to her fathers side.Thunderbolt Ross was then in charge of a top-secret project to create a new type of weapon involving gamma radiation. The head scientist on the project was Bruce Banner, whom her father abhored. An attraction between Betty and Bruce soon became aware. when she takes an interest in Bruce, her father fell uninterested with her. when the experiment when explosively wrong, injuring her, and banner became the hulk. she felt sad of the fact that her love himself is transformed into the Hulk and as the years pass, Betty tried to find something of a cure to stop Bruce from turning into the Hulk. for some strange reason though, she could still see the person she loved inside the hulk (if you got past the muscle and rage).

Soon, when she and Bruce are wedded, Betty still loved the person she knows inside the Hulk. Soon enough, things take a turn for the worse as the Hulk's nemesis, the Abomination, plants radiation poisoning in a shower which Betty proceeds to have. Betty dies from the radiation all over her body and General Ross blames the Hulk for her daughter's death.

But still, the general then confesses to the Hulk that he no longer blames him for Betty's death, despite of Bruce thinking of Betty and the Hulk's old lover, Jarella, and blamed himself for the deaths of the two women.
