Origin

Betty Ross is the daughter of General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross as well as the girlfriend of Bruce Banner. Although her father isn't interested with her when she takes an interest in Bruce, she felt sad of the fact that her love himself is transformed into the Hulk and as the years pass, Betty tried to find something of a cure to stop Bruce from turning into the Hulk.

Soon, when she and Bruce are wedded, Betty still loved the person she knows inside the Hulk. Soon enough, things take a turn for the worse as the Hulk's nemesis, the Abomination, plants raddiation poisoning in a shower which Betty proceeds to have. Betty dies from the raddiation all over her body and General Ross blames the Hulk for her daughter's death.

But still, the general then confesses to the Hulk that he no longer blames him for Betty's death, despite of Bruce thinking of Betty and the Hulk's old lover, Jarella, and blamed himself for the deaths of the two women.
