Betty Boop is a flirtatious, but seductive cartoon star of the 1930s animated series. She was modeled on a coy flapper in the 1920s known as Helen Kane. Betty has big eyes, long eyelashes that she bats frequently, and a high-pitched voice, which is provided by Mae Questel. She wears strapless short-skirted dresses and a fancy garter on her left thigh. Betty usually punctuates her own sentences with this famous catchphrase "Boop-oop-a-doop".
