razzatazz's Betty and Veronica Double Digest #200 review

    Best Friends

I don't usually review this title though I do read it regularly.  The reason is mostly because of its format.  As anyone that has read a serialized Archie comic knows, these issues are mostly non-continuous and one story could easily depict the characters acting in one way while the next takes a different approach altogether.  So in that sense there is not always much reason to review these as they contain generally a lot of stories most no longer than a few pages long.   I am an Archie fan, though I guess to be honest much more of a Betty and Veronica fan, and in that light this issue was pretty fun.  Seeing as this is a landmark issue (#200) the creative teams decided to put in a bit more of value than usual, this time trying to highlight more why the two are best friends and what the two do for each other.  I thought it was a nice attempt at both some levity as well as something more serious.  The fans of the series would like this one.
