Archie and Reggie's competitive spirit proves to be too tough for Veronica to overcome. When Betty proves to be stronger than some of the boys, and more attractive to others, because of her exercise regime, Veronica grows more and more incensed. Cleaning out the old clothes and memorabilia in the attic of Veronica's grandmother allows Veronica and the gang to attend Riverdale's newest hot spot, a Swing-era theme club, in costume. Using the school's charity "slave" auction, Veronica surprisingly buys Jughead in order to exact revenge for years of perceived torment.
