    The Message

Nite Owl rendezvous with a familiar character in order to get to the bottom of a case. Mason hands a letter to Dreiberg about his past and Rorschach stumbles upon a terrible secret.

    Plus

Another perfect issue for J. Michael Straczynski and his creative team. This issue picks up where it left off last time with perfect pace. Despite a lot of things happening, every part of it was shown with excellent portions. The page breakdown and it's layout was used properly to tell every bit of the story. All of the character's dialogue didn't move away from their personalities and Mason's lines were brilliant. A lot of questions are going to be answered in this series' final issue but the way Mason and Dreiberg's scene together was drawn, Mason's secret is probably the one that all the readers are dying to know.

From the cover to the final pages, this issue doesn't disappoint with it's art. The cover of Nite Owl making out with the mysterious female she met inside his flying vehicle overlooking the city is flawless. The setting and the objects inside the issue were well drawn as well.

    Minus

Not really a take-away but why is this mini-series only getting four issues?

    Final Score

Nudity, blood, violence, plus a great plot and art makes this issue a must buy. Straczynski and his team makes it look like making a perfect comic book is too easy. Leaving a lot of mysteries heading into the conclusion, you'll find yourself at the edge of your seat waiting for issue #4. 5/5 stars.
