Object » Beetle Armor Mk. II appears in 46 issues.
A US Government agency that regulates activity and legislation of paranormals and costumed adventurers. More often than not they are seen as hindrance and antagonists to the likes of the X-Men, Captain America and the Thunderbolts.
During the Civil War, the Thunderbolts were tasked with apprehending various superhumans in violation of the SHRA and enlisted them into an army against the Grandmaster.
Three college students who stole the original Beetle armors from Abe Jenkins.
A group of super-villians financed and outfitted by their employer, Justin Hammer.
The Thunderbolts went through many evolutions: Baron Zemo's plan for world domination, a superhero team comprised of super-villains seeking redemption, Norman Osborn's personal hit squad, a government-sponsored prison reform project, and more. What they had in common was a roster that was always made of supervillains and anti-heroes willing to cross the lines other heroic teams wouldn't.
Originally, they were a team of mercenaries and assassins, organized by the original Beetle, Abe Jenkins. Later, the name (minus Sinister) was revitalized by Janice Lincoln (also going by the Beetle) for her female-only crime organization.
The Sinister Six is the name of various teams assembled with the purpose of defeating Spider-Man or pursuing criminal endeavors. Formed and recurrently led by Doctor Octopus, subsequent iterations of the Sinister Six have also been led by Hobgoblin, Sandman, Green Goblin and currently Boomerang.
