    Beelzebub is a demon of uncertain origin or importance.

    Creation

    Beelzebub was created by Ann Nocenti and Trevor McCarthy. He made his first appearance in Klarion #1. It is unclear whether he is the real Beelzebub, or merely trading on that name.

    Major Story Arcs

    Klarion

    Driving his car through the multiverse, Beelzebub meets the wandering Klarion. He gives the young witch boy a ride to Earth, describing himself as a barber and offering the boy a "close shave." Leaving him with his card, Beelzebub returns to his barber shop. Some time later he is called by Klarion, asking for the "close shave." He arrives to rescue him from Witchhunter Moody and drives them into Klarion's pocket dimension, where he introduces Klarion to Swag and tries to win him away from the Moody coven. He is confronted by the leaders of the coven, and fights Noah. He escapes the pocket as it begins to collapse, although his car is stolen by Klarion. He meets Klarion at his barber shop and gives him a haircut. After Klarion defeats Coal, he celebrates his downfall.

    Powers and Abilities

    Beelzebub is a demon of unknown power. His exact powers have never been demonstrated, though he is known to have extensive occult knowledge, and may be capable of independent dimensional travel.
