Origin

Beautiful Dreamer is from the planet New Genesis. During Darkseid's war with the New Gods, she was kidnapped from her home and left on Earth. Fortunately, she was saved by Superman and Infinity Man. She then returned to her old friends, the Forever People.

Later, the Forever People left Earth for the planet Adon to escape Devilance the Pursuer. There, Beautiful Dreamer married her teammate Big Bear. But after villainous entities known as the Dark invaded their new home, the Forever People (after defeating the Dark) left Adon to live on Earth again. While living on Earth, Beautiful Dreamer and Big Bear had a child that they named Maya.

Beautiful Dreamer died during the Death of the New Gods event.

Mark Moonrider: She was originally romatically involved with Mark but it was never really developed upon apart from holding hands.

Big Bear: She was married to her companion Big Bear and with him had a child named Maya, after the Mother Box. But in the '' Jack Kirby's Fourth World'' series this became retconned away.

Takion: Her last seen romance was with Takion, the Highfather of New Genesis.

Powers

A skilled hand to hand combatant, as are all the children of New Genesis, Beautiful Dreamer also possesses the singular ability to isolate images from the minds of others and give those images temporary form, creating frightening lifelike illusions. There appears to be no limit as to the size or duration of these images. She can also sense fluctuations in the Source, like the rest of the New Gods.
