Avengers

One of the original X-Men. Beast has superhuman strength, agility, endurance, and speed. He has strong fingers and toes and can scale walls. Hank has great manual and pedial dexterity and can perform several tasks using both his hands and feet. He has enhance senses such as night-vision and a sense of smell that can track a human and also has a slight healing factor. Joined in Avengers Vol. 1 #137

Defenders

The Beast has a number of adventures with the Defenders and served as a "Defender for a Day" several times before being a regular member of the team. After the final battle with the Dragon of the Moon, Iceman, Angel and Beast helped form X-Factor. Relevent Issues:#122-152 (Original Series)

Shadow-X

One of the original X-Men, perhaps most notable for his blue, rough exterior yet kind and gentle heart.

X-Factor

One of the original X-Men. Beast has superhuman strength, agility, endurance, and speed. He has strong fingers and toes and can scale walls. Hank has great manual and pedial dexterity and can perform several tasks using both his hands and feet. He has enhance senses such as night-vision and a sense of smell that can track a human and also has a slight healing factor. Later on, when he has taken on a secondary mutation, his smelling, sight and reflexes are enhanced even further.

X-Men

One of the original 5 X-Men. Hank McCoy is well-known for his outstanding intellect, which stands in ironic contrast to his physical appearance and code-name.

X-Terminators

The original X-Men disassociated with the current team because Professor X had placed their old nemesis Magneto as its leader. The five set up a business advertised as mutant-hunters for hire, headquartered in downtown New York City, posing as "normal" (non-superpowered) humans to their clients. The mutants X-Factor captured were secretly trained to control their powers and reintegrated into society. Through their "mutant-hunting" they recruited a group of young wards that would later take on the name X-Terminators when the original X-Factor move on to other ventures.
