I hate when the writers aren't thinking and the editors don't catch it but in the latest issue of Superboy, #5, Superboy calls Beast Boy Garth. I had to double check if Tempest was there but no he was talking to Garfield. Ugh.
Nothing to get too worked up about. Just a writer who doesn't have a full grasp of a characters history (mainly the characters surrounding them) and editors who don't catch things. These thing tend to happen alot in the Titan related books.
One of the worst example was at the end of the first story arc on Winnick's "Titans" Match Busts into the compound, being controlled by Jericho and to let the team know who''s really in control he say "It's me, Jericho Slade!" niether of those being part of his actual name, mind you. Jericho being his code name, Slade being his father's first name. Just people who don't pay attention. Sad that it gets past the editing process so frequently, but nothing worthworrying about. Mistakes wil happen, be forgotten and the characters we love will endure inspite of it.
@Beast_in_the_Shadows: You're right about us fans getting over and moving on from it. Still, as professional writers and editiors it's their job to make sure they get these things right. They get paid to do this and it's important. If it wasn't important then why even have an editor?

They're humans and got hell of a rhythm to make things right in time. Since years they provide us in comics we should be thankful and not jumping at their throat at any little failed things. So they missed that, ohlala the end of the world is close...
