The Be Sharps are a barbershop quartet formed, originally, by Homer Simpson, Chief Wiggum, Apu, and Seymour Skinner. They sang together at various locations, namely a jail. The group was eventually discovered by an agent, who demanded the release of Wiggum. After Wiggum was out, the group had try-outs to replace him. Everyone tried, including: Chief Wiggum in a disguise, Grandpa Simpson, and Jasper! No one fit the bill, until Barney Gumble was found singing on the men's room floor. Barney was offered a place, and took it. The Be Sharps had formed again. They met with success with the song Baby On Board, their first #1. The group won a Grammy, presented by David Crosby. Homer met George Harrison, and evrything seemed great. However, things went poorly following some bad songs and Barney's new Oriental girlfriend. The band knew they were finished when they appeared in the "What's Hot and What's Not" magazine. Were they hot? They were not! The band split, but reunited one last time, on top of Moe's Tavern.
