Is Batwoman Stereotyped? I heard a complaint so now I'm wondering

I heard a complaint that Batwoman is another stereotyped character. I personally I have not seen any stereotypes in the comic, so I'm curious if there is anything that I missed, or is that person just trolling the comic for laughs?

@Neverpraying: I don't see what's stereotypical about her. I assume you mean "stereotypical lesbian," of which I really haven't seen. Honestly, unless you think "rockabilly = lesbian" I just do not see it. Or did you mean she was stereotypical Jewish? Because, again, I do not see that.

Well the person commenting on the comic just said oh great another stereotyped character, which you're right about them probably complaining about the gay aspect. Also I agree with you, I grew up with a gay brother, and know somethings about gay folks, and I'm just not seeing any stereotypes. Thanks for the confirmation tho. I was just curios if there was something I was missing. I like to have all the pieces to the puzzle.

Speaking as a gay woman myself, it would be a stereotype if the book was constantly beating you over the head with Kate being a lesbian, but it's not. I don't see the stereotype in her character if anything they have manage to avoided her sexuality by almost making it a non factor. I always think of a character that's being stereotyped if there race, gender, or sexuality is the one of the first things I see in a press release.

I agree in someways she fits one of the stereo types but so do many strait heroes.  Real people can be stereo type. There isn't necessarily wrong with being one.
It's only when you don't realize that it doesn't define everyone or its shown in a negative way that it is wrong.
