Batwoman was originally created so that people would stop thinking Batman was gay, and now she's a lesbian. Does anyone else see the Irony in this or is it just me?

I know, I was trying to say a joke, I mean, there is nothing wrong with Batman about being gay, but is a bad thing being a pedophile (relationship with Robin, he is the "wonder boy")... got it?
