    Still needs Improving

    The fourth part in the "To Drown the World" arc is the first part I've actually been able to follow. I think my greatest disappointment with this arc is the non linear story line. I'm suddenly trying to remember from month to month what has happened for 5 different people's stories for just one comic. Hopefully the next arc in this series will improve and we can get back to the Batwoman the New 52 started with. I've been slowly losing interest in the series since To Drown the World started.

      While I appreciate Trevor McCarthy's attempts to emulate J.H. Williams' layout style... he still needs some work with coherence. Williams has mastered this style in which no matter how insane his layouts get, the narrative is never hard to follow. The style is smooth with a perfect flow. McCarthy gets the uniqueness down, but doesn't totally capture a smooth flow, making some of the scenes difficult when I had to reread them to make sure I was reading the panels in the right order.And I don't me...
