    The Story:Someone is abducting children which doesn't go unnoticed by Batwoman who begins to investigate. Batwoman is also still dealing with the loss of her sister, betrayal of her father and the training of her cousin Bette Kane.My Thoughts:I was very disappointed when Greg Rucka left DC knowing he would be absent from this new Batwoman series. His work on Detective Comics that involved Batwoman was nothing short of groundbreaking. At least one half of that team is still on this series. J.H. W...

    Blood Really Is Thicker Than Water 0

    I will qualify this statement by saying that I haven’t actually read all of DC’s releases so far and I probably won’t either, but Batwoman is, hands-down, the most beautiful book I’ve read this month. We’re talking legit art beautiful. I never heard of J.H. Williams III before, but you can guarantee I’ll remember him from here on out.In the entire book there are only three pages of conventional comic book paneling. Every other page is dynamically done.     Synopsis: Batwoman investigates The Weeping Woman.What's Good?Getting this out of the way is the artwork. J.H Williams was one of the reasons why I enjoyed reading Batwoman: Elegy, and while I am sad that Amy Reeder is not on this project, Williams' artwork is jaw-dropping gorgeous, from the cover, to the end of the book.
