<p>Now that David Zavimbe is out and Lucius Fox's son Luke is the new Batwing, what now? He's obviously a genius level intellect , graduating MIT early and a skilled martial artist</p><p>but is he ready mentally? How will his going against his fathers wishes and becoming the new Batwing affect their relationship or even Lucius' and Batman/Bruce's relationship? Thoughts?</p>

@wavemotioncannon: I haven't read the issue yet but I predict a lot of father son conflicts. I think the series going forward, holistically, might have a Spider-man feel.

I just hope it's good and this character is given a chance to be promoted and grow and get exposure to potential fans.

ok so i read the issue. there wasn't much about Luke though.

the question now is, will the change bring in more readers? Do people really want to read about Lucius Fox's son? someone from the Fox family wear the bat insignia does make sense, seeing as a lot of Batman's gadgets come from Lucius department at Wayne Tech. but how long until this book gets cancelled if sells don't improve? if sells don't improve, do the changes made become meaningless?

I wonder if his real name is Lucius Fox Jr. and he just goes by Luke Fox. in the Batman Beyond universe Lucius Fox Jr is a real character.

@wavemotioncannon what @G-Man means is that this character, the son of Lucius Fox is Lucius Fox Jr therefore this article for Luke Fox is a duplicate.

it hasn't been proven that Luke Fox is Lucius Fox Jr. in this interview it seems that he is not L.F. Jr.

Nrama: When the new armor was revealed, there had been guesses that the new Batwing had a connection to the Batman Beyond universe. And Lucius Fox Jr. does exist in Batman Beyond. Are you thinking of Luke as the same eventual character from the animated universe?

Gray: It's hard within a large corporation to cross-pollinate different mediums. For instance, film stuff doesn't necessarily always make it into comics; comics’ stuff doesn't always make it into films; and video games and so on.

So uh is it just me or is this new Batwig costume the same as Batman Beyond?
