James 'Jimmy' Stantini was mutated by radioactive chemicals that his father died whilst illegally dumping. Segeragated by everyone due to his appearance, only Spider-Man attempted to help him, taking him to Lizard who attempted to reverse his physical transformation. However, once he overcame the psychological trauma of being rejected by his mother, he returned to human form and went back to his shattered family.
