We'll all miss you Judd 2

You know, its been quite a while since I've written a review, but that's just the way things turned I guess.Judd ends his run on Batwing with a beginning, as corny as it sounds, and to his credit he does it well. This issue, while business as usual for Batwing, really just serves to show why Judd Winick's leaving the book is a huge loss on DC's part and I really do dread what will happen to Batwing with Judd no longer writing this book. But more on that later. In keeping with the theme of the 0 is...

The Psychotic Perspective: Batwing #0 0

They Will Pay for What They’ve Given Birth ToI just read my first issue of Batwing last week, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a very good story. However, I came in on the end of a story arc, and one issue does not a good series make, so my opinion on Batwing remains up in the air. What Makes a Bat 0

This has been a brilliant series and this is probably my favourite new character series in the New 52. I really like Marcus To's art although I have mentioned I liked Ben Oliver's art more. Judd Winick has also handled this character which was probably the best thing out of the original Batman Inc series whilst also making the character his own. This issue we see how Matu Ba and Rene Diallo came too raising David into the man he becomes. One year beforethe New 52 we see David as a police officer w...

    Batwing: Year One 0

Marcus To gives us one of those very standard Zero Issue covers that makes most of them blend into the woodwork. It takes the concept and really doesn't do anything with it. It's a cover that would be a little better if it wasn't competing with the rest of the Zero issues. This issue fills in the last major gaps we had in Batwing's origin story. Previously we saw where his raw talent and thirst for justice began, but we never got to see that transitional period. How did he go from 'angry former c...

So Glad That They Got A Black Guy As Batwing, It's Good To See A Black Superhero Comic Do Really Good. Well, 60% Of It's Success Goes To Being A Part Of The Batman Family.
