Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome was a 10-part web series that was assembled as a pilot for a TV series telling the story of young pilot Bill Adama's first tour of duty during the First Cylon War.

    "Episode 1"Released November 9, 2012
William Adama joins the military to fight in the First Cylon War. He's posted aboard the Battlestar Galactica after he tests amazingly well in simulator training. Once aboard, however, he's assigned to Wild Weasel, a Raptor troop carrier rather than a Viper fighter. His partner is veteran pilot Coker, whose final tour is almost up and is none too happy to be paired with the gung-ho newbie he calls "Husker". Commander Silas Nash, sends them on a cargo supply run and orders them to avoid enemy contact of any kind.
    "Episode 2"Released November 9, 2012
Just prior to take-off, Coker and Husker learn the Wild Weasel's "cargo" is a civilian. In-flight they learn that she's a software engineer named Dr. Becca Kelly, and she is part of the team responsible for upgrading the Cylons to their present form when she worked for Graystone Industries. Once out of communications range of the Galactica, Dr. Kelly gives them new orders. Their actual mission is to renezvous with Colonial cruiser Archeron at the edge of Cylon controlled space. When they arrive they find a destroyed Archeron and are ambushed by a pair of Cylon Raiders.
    "Episode 3"Released November 16, 2012

when the Raptor's weapons jam, Adama saves the day by "threading the needle" through the burnt-out remains of the Archeron, destroying the pursuing Cylon Raiders. As they are about to plot a course home, Dr. Kelly orders them to transmit a signal, much to Coker's chagrin. An immediate response comes. It's a set of coordinates. They head to the indicated location. When Husker awakens Dr. Kelly from a nap she calls him "Ezra". When he tells her this she tells him that she was married to Ezra Barzel, a war hero. When they reach the coordinates they find a graveyard of Colonial ships, and among them some survivors.

    "Episode 4"Released November 16, 2012
Aboard a Battlestar, Dr. Kelly is send on a mission to Djerba, an unguarded ice planet deep in Cylon controlled space. The commander, Ozar, wants to use her own pilots but acquiesces to Dr. Kelly's request for Coker and Husker to take her in Wild Weasel. Too late they learn it's a suicide mission. One of the Viper pilots to escort Wild Weasel is going to be Lt. Jim Kirby, who Coker thought was dead after his ship was badly damaged in battle. Kirby tells Coker that their deaths were faked so that they could attack the Cylons from within. Coker tells Kirby that he's seen his wife and he has a son. The commander tells the crew that the fate of the war depends on Dr. Kelly's mission. They jump within range of the planet, but there is a Cylon Basestar nearby.
    "Episode 5"Released November 23, 2012

The Basestar and the Battlestar, Osiris, engage in long range combat while Wild Weasel and it's escorts slip off to Djerba. Unfortunately the Osiris is badly damaged so Ozar rams the Basestar and detonates their nuclear ordnance on impact blowing the Basestar and themselves up. Meanwhile the mission is being run-down by three Cylon raiders. Kirby bugs-out, but the rest are able to destroy the pursuers and crash land on Djerba.

    "Episode 6"Released November 23, 2012
After the crash, Husker and Coker argue over how to proceed. Dr. Kelly fires off a round to get their attention and then says the only thing they can do is proceed with the mission. They follow the distress signal to an ice cave where they find the Marine unit has been massacred but not by arms fire. There is a sudden floor collapses and Coker and Kelly fall into a pit. Husker attempts to rescue them but just ends up dropping down and getting stuck with them. Noises and movement can be heard. Suddenly they are attacked by an alien life form. Coker is bitten and things look grim until the only surviving Marine, Sgt. Toth rappels to their aid and kills the snake-like being.
