The Utopian city of Tiphares' diabolical secret is out, pitting parent against child, metal against flesh! As the reluctant protector of a surviving band of innocents, recently resurrected cyborg Alita must stop a rampaging three-story-high robot with the mind of a three-year-old child! But all she really wants to do is find her long-lost friends from one of her many other lives....

Alita must battle a giant robot with the mind of a child. She also finds a purpose: to find the brain bio-chip of her old friend, Lou, and bring her back to life.
