Detective Comics
is a comic volume from DC Comics that started in 1937
Detective Comics debuted in March of 1937. The comic contained different characters until Batman debuted in #27. From there Detective Comics remains a series for Batman. This will be changing quickly, however, as the results of Batman R.I.P. have forced Batman to leave Detective Comics. After a fill-in by Nightwing, Hush, and Catwoman, Detective Comics will be headlined by Batwoman.
