One of the most unusual crossovers ever begins as the Dark Knight faces the daunting task of finishing a job that someone else started but - for reasons that remain a mystery - refused to finish. That someone was Michael Cray, Deathblow. And as Batman picks up the pieces of this unfinished job, he digs up the past of a man who was involved in political actions in which diplomacy was not an option.
