Howard Chaykin ( American Flagg, Wolverine , Batman: Thrillkiller) has been a comicbook writer and artist for over 25 years.  A master of comic narration, he has been an influence to many comic creators over the years.  Batman/Catwoman: Follow the Money is a modern Batman tale where Money is stolen the high-tech way.

This comic is nice because it is a wonderful waltz between the relationship of Batman and Catwoman.  Both on the side of good, but both are shades of Gray of what is right.  Chaykin explores the vigilante nature of Batman and has Catwoman say: "THE MOMENT YOU STEP OUT IN THIS RIG, YOU'RE COMMITTING A CRIMINAL ACT --" "-- BUT THE ONLY TIME YOU'RE LEGALLY PERMITTED TO HIT THE STREET DRESSED LIKE THAT IS HALLOWE'EN --". This play between Cat and winged-Mouse is very entertaining, because the theme of this comic is that "Everyone [is] the Hero of his movie".

This comic paces well, I was never bored. Chaykin's art is great and at times very detailed.  This comic is solid. Great read for fans who love the relationship of Batman and Catwoman. My only problem was a line where Bruce says "Kidding"... when does Batman Joke? But I can overlook that, I enjoyed this comic, classic Chaykin.

It feels ages since she's actually shown to be independent, confident, and competent. Kudos to Chaykin for breaking this recent mold of cat-victim we see in Sirens. 2. I've seen many complaints about the artwork, especially how Chaykin draws faces. I concur. His Catwoman in costume is not the most flattering or appealing depiction of her out there. Yet, ...
