Marvel did this for Cap recently. Normally I love excuses to take pot shots at DC but this is kosher.
I don't see a problem. Could create some must get covers.
I cant wait to see reactions from Bat haters.
I don't have a problem with it, getting to 75 years is worth celebrating.
My only criticism is that DC didn't do something similar last year for Superman, who is probably equally as iconic, if not more....
That's fine. It's his year. Just wish they had done something big like that for Supes' 75th.
Well, to be fair, Supes got like a billion variants from Superman Unchained.

They're still angry Batman stole their prom dates when they were teenagers.
I'm not a Batman fan but I think this is kinda hilarious, I understand it's Batman's 75th anniversary but it's like DC is trolling the Batman-haters.
The only one I have a problem with Batman on the cover is Grayson #1 but it's not that big of a deal.
What's the difference, isn't this what they do every month?

LOL!!! Hahaha
@entropy_aegis: Damn. I wished you posted this in the Gen. Discussion forum. Regardless, let the whining begin --- Batman should be on every cover in DC. He's done DC proud. DC should showcase that.
@smashbrawler: That's true! I forgot about those.

Nope.

Marvel does this all the time. Is this the first time DC is doing this?
They usually have a character on all title covers for issue milestones.

DC has a little banner at the top of the cover that reads "THE DARK KNIGHT RISES" or "MAN OF STEEL" whenever one of their movies is out.
Marvel mainly does this for movies nowadays. Sometimes really well --- when the first Thor movie came out, 26 Marvel books had "Thor Goes Hollywood" variants that were awesome.

Nope.
seems like it

I think so yes,I expected reactions like"he's already on every cover" and nice to see that I've gotten them.

Man, I think that was actually my favorite variant gimmick that either Marvel or DC has done yet.
@kal_smahboi: At least Supes got a new movie for his 75th.
I will bet you money that every single issue that features him on a cover will see an increase in sales.
Every issue that had a zero-year tie in, did.
@fallschirmjager: They're variants. Variants don't increase sales.
OP: They do a different theme of variants every month, and this is pretty commonplace, not to even mention that it's his damn 75th. Why would anyone be complaining?

Batman does though.
@fallschirmjager: But not Batman variants. Most LCS' don't even put variants on the shelves.

JLA #1 sold a stupidly high number of copies because of the 52 variants gimmick.
Never cared much about variants. If there's a cover by one of my favourite artists I might pick it up, but mostly likely pass on all of them.
If DC were smart they would replace every other character with Batman. Maybe people would find Aquaman cool is he was Batman? Food for thought.

Yeah I agree they should've done more
