Wouldn't Bendis make an incredible Batman writer?
@sog7dc: whos bendis?
@sog7dc: whos bendis?
Brian Michael Bendis..
@arturocalakayvee: oh he a writter?
if so what has he written?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
NO
Why not? You never read Daredevil?
@arturocalakayvee: oh he a writter?

He's one of the biggest writers in Marvel of the last decade+. He's written all of Ultimate Spider-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, All-New X-Men, Uncanny X-Men, Avengers, New Avengers, Mighty Avengers, Avengers Assemble, Dark Avengers, Avengers vs X-Men, numerous other events, DareDevil, Moon Knight, and about one thousand other books.
I really don't know people like both his Moon Knight and Daredevil run so it is far from impossible as many want to think.
A lot of people on here have this stigma against BMB but he's actually a pretty good writer. A great one, even. He definitely has his faults but overall he's written some pretty great books.
Daredevil =/=batman
Bendis is terrible writing characters with established continuity.
Also his dialogue would be out of place with batman

Yea but Bendis is fantastic at righting noir and Batman doesn't have any established history anymore anyway
@arturocalakayvee: hmmm you say biggest writer but I'm still tigure what trades I've read with his name on it any particular story line with his name on it?

If you've read anything Avengers related from 2004-Marvel NOW you've read BMB
@jonny_anonymous: batman inc is part of new 52 batman continuity.
Exactly. Batman needs some noir and mystery and I think Bendis is perfect for that

Only because DC couldn't stop Morrison from writing it, other than that they just cherry pick what they want to acknowledge
I think he'd be a better fit for Superman or Flash IMO
Noway, Bendis is great at writing noir, he's uber-crap at trying to write the lighter heroes.
I honestly think he'd be solid for batman. I've enjoyed pretty much everything Bendis has done except for his Avengers/event stuff
When it comes to batman, it isn't cherry picking events
@arturocalakayvee: did he write AvX? cause i like AvX alot
When it comes to batman, it isn't cherry picking events
Yes it is, loads of stuff has been introduced in Batman Inc that's been ignored by the DCU at large not to mention Snyder is basically rewriting Batman's entire back story.
No, he would be terrible. He's a hack.
Read Daredevil.

Yes. He did. I put that in my original list to you lol.
No, he would be terrible. He's a hack.
Read Daredevil.
Frank Miller had good stories too, look at him now. Bendis is a hack.
And yet Bendis can still write a great DD since End of Days came out last year, Bendis will always be able to write great noir (look at his indy stuff as well) even if his other superhero stuff is crap.

Mhhh I guess that he can, but his current work is terrible, I've tried getting into his current series and nothing seemed good to me.
That's because he cant write big, blockbuster action team comics no matter how hard he tries
Iam willing to give anyone a shot so if he wanted to do it i would have no problem with it maybe get him on to do some work on Eternal i mean it is a weekly series for the whole freaking year so why not grab some guest writers

Actually Bendis is a 'character writer' more than anything. His usage of dialogue would be great for Superman, especially with interactions between Clark and Lois or Perry. And with the eclectic Rogues of Flash, I think Bendis could strike gold.
@arturocalakayvee: then sure why not

@jonny_anonymous: Then why on Earth do Marvel keep giving him those gigs instead of focusing his efforts on their noir comics?
And honestly, I wouldn't want Bendis on Batman despite however good his noir writing may be. I simply don't trust his writing at all.

'Coz Bendis is a big name and no matter how well written a street crime book is, it's not going to sell as much as the big time books.
...Bendis on Batman, why not? I have just read through the Volume 1 book of his Daredevil run and really enjoyed it. Not really enough Daredevil action, but a very good read for the more "mature" reader, shall we say! IMO he can write a good story about a streetleveller and I also like his Spiderman books, so he could probably do it.
What do you think?
As a hardcore Bendis fan......i don't know......
Like can anyone imagine Frank Miller (os the 80s of cource) writing Spider-Man?.....well im something like that with Bendis.....
Loeb writes a fantastic Batman,but a weak Spider-Man......i have other examples.
EDIT: another question,of the same sort......you see Snyder writing a good Spider-Man?...
I've read very few stories by Bendis but if he's good at Noir style stories and is a 'character writer' then he seems a good fit for Batman.
Mark Waid would be a better choice.
Jeff Lemire :D
Any of these two guys would be beyond awesome.
