Would You Be Batman?

Judging by all the good he does in the world you would have to be the most selfish asshole in the world to say no. You also get a Batmobile. Sign me up
How much has Gotham changed? It still seems overrun with supervillains. Anything good and long lasting that Batman does is with money, and you don't need to watch your family die to earn money.
@tim2081: I'm not too sure about that. The guy has been in the Justice League, helped out in all major crises, and definitely deterred criminals in Gotham. If this was set in the real world then I'm sure any max security prison would hold any and all psychos that come with the job, and a truly skilled ninja bat fetish hero would keep superstitious punks off the street. Also, inspiring the young to stay in school and out of gangs would be hugely beneficial in the real world. Brazil has their own "Batman" meant to do just this. I'm sure the real thing would do way more good.
Also, it's an opinion. If you don't think Batman does any good in the world, then fine. I'm just saying that by my own code of ethics and beliefs it would be my responsibility to ensure the greatest amount of good for the greatest amount of people, regardless of my own happiness.
I'm officially the most selfish a$$hole in the world, because I would never sacrifice my innocent family to become Batman. Horrible, horrible me......
Hellz yeah. 'Cept I wouldn't be no punkazz bat-man. I'd be the OwlMan biznitches. Gotham, feel my wrath!
Not a chance. Firstly the world doesn't need another rich guy that doesn't care about poor people which I know I'd invariably become if I became that wealthy. Secondly while I love my parents and would never want anything to happen to them, I'm realistic about my emotional attachments and doubt that I have it in me to dedicate myself to a crusade against the criminal elements of this world in their honor. Also I believe it's Batman's obsession that pushes him to the heights he reaches at times, without it I think he's less and I'd be even less than that with a big heaping pile of self-interest on top.
Once I really dreamt that I was Batman. Then I saw a criminal who pulled a gun against me, so I...ran away
So I don't think I could be Batman. BTW, I'm still amazed to see how constructed my dream was...
Pretty much yes,Nobody would actually have the mentality to do that, but I have enough prowess to attempt such a thing.
