    Think about this.

We see that organized crime has been erased in The Dark Knight Rises due to the Dent-Act, it was also stated that if anyone found out about Dent's crimes, all of it would be undone. But in The Dark Knight Rises, Bane tells everyone. And Blake becomes the next Batman.

So after The Dark Knight Rises takes place and Bruce leaves, will organized crime return? And will Gotham be like what it was in The Dark Knight?

First, it is only implied that Blake may become the next Batman (or more likely Nightwing, skipping the Robin process). And yes, Gotham will always return to its semi-lawless state, no matter what goes on. Anyway, it's largely pointless because Nolan's trilogy is done.

It's more likely Batman than Nightwing if you think of it. He left the Bat-Cave for John, and it's more logical that he'd become Batman rather than Nightwing in Nolan's universe. We'll never know for sure, but IMO it seems more likely for him to become Batman.

@comicdude23: Definitely possible. It's all conjecture at this point, anyway.

@End_Boss: True. I was just curious to see if Blake would have to face the same mob Bats did in TDK.

@comicdude23: Probably not the same mob thug-for-thug, but something so similar as to make no difference.

Yeah. The tone in TDK is what I think it would be like again.
