David Mazzucchelli drew the best batman in my opinion. who would be in favor of him drawing Batman again?
Batman
Character » Batman appears in 23651 issues.
Bruce Wayne, who witnessed the murder of his billionaire parents as a child, swore to avenge their deaths. He trained extensively to achieve mental and physical perfection, mastering martial arts, detective skills, and criminal psychology. Costumed as a bat to prey on the fears of criminals, and utilizing a high-tech arsenal, he became the legendary Batman.
Who wants David Mazzucchelli to draw Batman again?
@sog7dc: Ah that rings a bell. His art was perfect for that book but I don't know if I would want him drawing batman regularly. Maybe for a few series that fits his style. But I have only seen him in year one so I could be wrong
He's one of the best Batman artist ever, so I wouldn't mind if he draws Batman for an arc or two but I'm skeptical if he's style will suit the modern day Batman. Now Andy Kubert, I would love to see him back as the Batman artist, he draws the best Batman or even, I'd also like to see Jim Lee return at some point.
alex ross should draw every DC character imo
I was never impressed by his Batman but his Superman is amazing/
I've recently finished Batman: Year One so I'm definitely in the frame of mind that wants Mazzucchelli as an artist on Batman again. His sharp pencils coupled with the dark inks were a perfect combination for Millar's gritty, noir esque story that he crafted in Batman: Year One. His style is particularly well suited to contrast with squalid urban environments so he not only draws characters well, he's excellent at crafting environments too.
I'd like him to do his own stuff instead.
It's a wonder DC hasn't had him draw batman since year one. I don't think his style works for new52 Batman but possibly on this new weekly series? Or maybe just an else-world story
How do you know DC hasn't contacted him and he declined?

Well if your point is that David's style isn't suited to New 52 Batman, he wouldn't work on the new weekly series Batman: Eternal which is still canon to the New 52 universe. Did you mean the digital Legend of the Dark Knights series instead? That might be better suited to David's art style.

yeah, because that way every DC hero will look Old, dumpy and will BARELY resemble what they're supposed to look like. Alex Ross is overrated.

Dude seriously? He's Superman looks so grand and powerful.
I hate it man. It's so bad to me. Everyone looks old and overweight and they look like men wearing spandex which is embarrassing. It's just not for me. I didn't enjoy KC because of the art
I like his Superman and Captain Marvel but other characters like Batman, WW, Flash or GL.. not so much. Although I do like his Bruce Wayne.
