Who do u think writes a better batman story?
I think I enjoyed Snyder's work better as his Batman just seemed more detective than super hero. The only issue is there were a lot of BS in the court of owls arc. I don't understand how batman gets almost beaten to death by one talon, and then, while still injured, takes on like five at the same time.
@highlyevolved: i havent seen much detective work in snyder's run
I think morrison had many great arcs but snyder wrote black mirror which i believe to be one of the best batman stories imo an zero yrs been pretty good so far an court of owls was great. But morrison had RIP batman an son an the whole batman& robin stories.......... So idk
I loved Morrisons work up until Batman Inc. I never warmed up to it, honestly. Always thought it was too similar to X-Corp from his work on New X-Men. But I won't deny it's great story telling. I went with Morrison because he tells a great story from beginning, middle, and end. Snyder usually does but then there are times where he doesn't.
Morrison stomps.
I prefer Morrison's run overall but Snyder's run is still fantastic.
Snyder's run has the potential to reach Morrison's level but it's not there yet imo
Snyder's is more horrorish (just made that word up. Deal with it b*tch) just like
i enjoy both. they both have different goals with their writing of the character. While morrison aims to develop characters and storylines i think Snyder aims to tell a compelling horror story
And I enjoy horror in comics. I love horror story's themselves, always found them interesting. So I went Snyder.
Love Morrison but Snyder writes Batman as though he is Batman. Horrific and Dark but with a sense of Hope.
Man. Morrison is my favorite Batman writer, plus he wrote the definitive Superman story. I love that bald headed bastard.

I don't get it, Morrison's Batman's sense of hope is far greater than Snyder's, Snyder's Batman actually lost hope many times. And I've never found Snyder's Batman dark or horrific (I've read till the the DoTF arc), instead Morrison's Batman was dark and horrific, Snyder's Batman is a man in a Bat costume.
@graysonmatter: Btw when I was talking about Snyder's New 52 run, not Black Mirror and Grayson Batman stuffs, haven't read those.
I finally decided to vote snyder mostly because of the Black Mirror. It was BY FAR the best Dick Grayson batman story. Way better than morrisons batman & robin (but i loved that too). The story has all for a great batman story, great detective work, a fantastic cool idea with the dealer, an AMAZING new villain in Jim Gordons son an a amazing new version of the joker
