Being from 1968 I'm sure this scene from above found in World's Finest # 173 is thoroughly out of continuity, heck, stuff from six months ago it out of continuity much less almost 44 years ago!

But still, does it hold? Of his villains over the years whom would Batman be the most afraid of? In that issue it was stated as being Two-Face, would that still hold today? I'm guessing not, what with ones that have broken his back and killed side-kicks... for a while at least.

Honestly I don't think the scene is right, Two-Face's crimes always are related to the number 2 so he haves a M.O.

But yes... I just can think on the Joker, because, How can this guy have a M.O. if he's crazy and kill for fun? You don't know ANYTHING about what is going to do

I mean the obvious answer is the Joker but when did the joker ever do anything that brought about lasting consequence to Batman himself like we know they are both arch enemies and always will be but I think Bane might be the villain Batman is scared of the most I mean he freed every criminal and lune from the Asylum and then he straight up broke Batman's back I mean that's pretty scary.

Joker beat one of his Robins to death with a crowbar. That definitely left an impression.

I really think that Batman fears loss. He lost his parents, and he became the Batman. He is always worrying about his friends and family. I also think that he is also scared because I think he kinda knows that he could go crazy fairly easy. 
 
Batman is such a complex character and knowing what he does and doesn't fear would be hard to flesh out.

They have'nt named it yet,since it has something to do with Scarecrow they just call it his toxin.Does fearlessness also increase adrenaline?

It's written by Jenkins,nuff said.Though a recent interview by Finch actually has decreased my fears regarding Bane.

Loss is the only thing he fears. Firstly, he fears for the safety of his friends, family and allies (and more spefically that they get hurt or die because of his own failure). Secondly, he fears the loss of control.

I don't think there is an enemy he fears. Not even the Joker.
