Just something I was thinking about, we all know how much good Batman has done for Gotham, but has the impact of Bruce Wayne been greater? Batman fights crime head-on, whereas Bruce tries to better the city in other ways. Could Bruce Wayne have as much of an impact without the costume?

So who do you think is more important to Gotham?

Realistically, Bruce Wayne.

They need both, but if they could only have one, Bruce Wayne.

If Bruce could educate everyone and provide them with some ofhis resources, would they still need Batman?

Undoubtedly, it has to be Bruce Wayne. He has invested so much time and money into the city, along with his family throughout history.

It depends. If you're talking about social security, I would say Bruce Wayne, he generates jobs, he does charity work and stuff like that.

But, in criminal security, I would say Batman. The police would not be prepared to deal with the likes of Joker, Killer Croc, Two Face, Riddler, Mr. Freeze.

If you said that Batman 'generates' this criminals, then I guess Bruce Wayne would be a lot more valuable or if Bruce with his civillian persona could prepare the police for criminals like the ones I cited above, however, I don't believe in neither of those things, so, Batman and Bruce Wayne are equally important to Gotham.

Batman on the short term, Bruce on the long term.
